June 2003 - July 2007              Timber Crest Baptist Church                                    Waco, TX

Senior Pastor

·   Led Church into the fastest growing period in the 50 year history of the Church.  More people were baptized and more people joined than anytime in the history of the Church.

 ·   Led Church camps and set records for the number of salvations at Church camp,

 ·  Preached sermons rooted in the word of God at Pastor's Conferences, Associational meetings, graduation ceremonies, and in many churches in the area.

 ·  Led a staff of more than 4 people in this Church which averaged 200 - 220 people on an average Sunday and contained a yearly budget of $250,000.

 

2001-June 2003                         Millican Baptist Church                                     Millican, TX

Senior Pastor

·         Size of congregation more than doubled during my tenure

·         Initiated new college outreach ministry to students at A&M

·         Formed new building committee to oversee the building of new sanctuary to accommodate growth

·         Preached sermons rooted in the word of God and saw God use a church to transform a community.

·         Job duties include: Lead church, prepare sermons, organize growth strategy, plan business meetings and staff meetings, oversee other church employees, create mailers, create power point presentations, built and update website, oversee database creation and data entry.

·         Helped church recover from a downturn, and brought church to life by the power of God

Emergency Vet Technician

·         Served as sole technician and clinic administrator from 10pm until 6am

·         Admitted clients, evaluated medical condition of patients, performed simple medical procedures on patients

·         Highly trusted position, worked unsupervised and was highly praised for work

·         Highly recruited for full time status but refused due to shift in career goals

Additional Information

 

I am a people person.  I am easy to get along with and I pride myself in serving others and going the extra mile in my service to Christ and his church.  When I am not in the church I like training horses, enjoying God's creation, and tending the animals on the ranch.
